Welcome

Welcome to our Temple

Nestled in the sunny hills of Glendale, California, this temple is a branch of Self-Realization Fellowship, the international nonprofit society founded by one of the preeminent spiritual figures of our time — Paramahansa Yogananda.

We warmly invite you to attend our program of inspirational lecture services, meditations, and other activities, and learn more about India’s age-old philosophy of Yoga and its time-honored tradition of meditation, presented in the soul-illumining teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.

In the hundred years since the birth of Paramahansa Yogananda, this beloved world teacher has come to be recognized as one of the greatest emissaries to the West of India’s ancient wisdom. “Self-realization is the knowing — in body, mind, and soul — that we are one with the omnipresence of God; that we do not have to pray that it comes to us, that we are not merely near it at all times, but that God’s omnipresence is our omnipresence; that we are just as much a part of Him now as we ever will be. All we have to do is improve our knowing.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda
