Join us for Group Meditation with Kirtan Chanting on selected Fridays and Saturdays.  Please see online calendar for scheduled dates.

Energization Exercises
The Energization Exercises are a series of standing exercises developed by Paramahansa Yogananda to bring cosmic energy into the body and help prepare one for meditation. They are practiced outdoors in a group before the Friday evening meditation.

Meditation Service
The meditation service is conducted by a leader who will guide you through periods of silent meditation for 30–50 minutes in length — separated by short periods of devotional chanting and inspirational readings

Chanting
The chanting is conducted by a leader who will guide you through periods of devotional chanting and inspirational readings.

Kirtan Chanting
When scheduled, the kirtan chanting is conducted by the Glendale Temple Kirtan group who will guide the service through periods of devotional chanting and beautiful instrumental music.
