Diwali Celebration, October 22

On Saturday, October 22, SRF Glendale Temple is presenting Diwali, The Hindu Festival of Lights. Diwali signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. We will have a delicious Indian dinner, followed by Chai and Chatter, a Kirtan and a shortened version of Glimpses of a Life Divine. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., dinner served at 5:30 p.m.

After October 16 the price will be $20.

Day of Service, November 19

We welcome and greatly appreciate all volunteers to come help with cleaning, maintenance, and gardening at the temple. The Day of Service will begin with a meditation at 10:00 a.m. in the main sanctuary. Afternoon meditation will be done individually at a location of your choosing on the temple grounds. A delicious vegetarian lunch will be served at 1:00 PM.

Holiday Boutique, November 20

On Sunday November 20th Glendale Temple will be having a Holiday Boutique and Fellowship after the service. In our Social Hall we will be offering devotional and gift items, books, jewelry, Christmas décor and much more.  Proceeds from this event support the temple.  Please join us for this special event.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we would like to invite you all to bring food to give to others in need.  Please bring nonperishable food items to the West Lobby and we will deliver them to a local organization that supports families who are working to improve their life conditions. We cannot provide refrigeration; so canned goods and non-perishable staple items are very welcome.
